Recognizing ADHD in Adults | Heather Brannon | TEDxHeritageGreen

Many people feel badly about themselves and have no idea why. They don’t want to open their mail or pick up their clothes off the floor. They feel embarrassed because they believe that people around them are lazy, have serious character flaws, or are quirky. They are often unaware that adult ADHD is not the same as ADHD in children. This can lead to them feeling anxious, overwhelmed and powerless.

Heather Brannon, MD draws upon 14 years’ experience in treating ADHD adults. As a family physician with nearly 30 year’s experience, she discovered that ADHD was a common condition and that it could be diagnosed and treated. In 2014, she decided to dedicate her entire practice to ADHD patients and adolescents.
