On How to ADHD we talk about this metaphorical toolbox of tools that we use to support our brains but what about an actual toolbox and collecting items for it from a few different categories like Sensory Support, Physical Support, Mental Support. I will show you what’s in my toolbox.
So I have this blanket for sensory support — I like the feeling of a cozy blanket around me when I’m anxious. I have animal crackers, I also have knitting which I can use to help me focus during meetings, and a glitter bottle to help me calm my emotional glitter.
