My Talk is about my story overcoming my ADHD in the school system and day to day life. I want not only to help others with ADHD but to also inform people, parents and teachers without ADHD about what might be going through their friends, kids, and students heads. ADHD is a topic that seem to be talked about in a negative manner more than positive, and I want to help change that. I am a strong independent women, that also likes women. I base my day to day life on humour and I am a very respectful individual. I can talk a lot, I’m also quite stubborn. My hobbies include art, long discussions with my mother, learning about and shaping myself, and other teen like enjoyments. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at x
